once we were checked into our hotel and had a much needed shower we went to find lunch. we stopped at the old man rock pub.
matt had the steak sandwich on grilled ciabatta bread with caramelized onions, tomato, lettuce, bbq sauce, grilled cheese and mayo served with fries.
funny - potato chips are crisps but fries are not chips, they're fries..
i had the beer battered fish and chips. (not fries) - fresh fish in a fluffy speight's beer batter with fries, lemon and tartare sauce.
this was pretty good. not sure what the fish was, there are several fish it could be. but in the end it was just another plate of fish and chips.
