12/8/2010 Cafe Juanita, Juanita WA

home from our trip we made our pilgrimage to cafe juanita with our house-sitter.

corpse reviver #2 with goose liver mousse crostini
 the bread plate
cipollini ripieni of caramelized onion, spinach, currants with parmigiano reggiano fonduta.

this was good, but i prefer the version with meat instead of spinach
new on the menu and definitely worth having

butternut squash polenta sfomato with butter friend sage and pomegranate
seared foie gras with quince, candied ginger and cocoa nibs
all served with










anolini of goose gizzard confit in goose brodo
piemontese agnolotti dal plin of rabbit with sage butter
barbera risotto with braised oxtail and parmigiano reggiano















 goat chop and goat neck & shoulder
 goose with huckleberries
butterfish with parsnip puree and bits of pancetta















all served with










cameo apple crostata with hazelnut frangiapane, hazelnut croccant and cinnamon gelato
pistachio mousse with pomegranate reduction and white chocolate



















cocoa covered dark chocolate truffles
